When it comes to an online store, choosing a product category is entirely different from listing the products for sale. There are two ways to add products: the traditional manual method, where an administrator accesses the product management system and manually enters products one by one—an easy but time-consuming process.
This is where we step in with a more efficient solution. At least for the initial product listing, bulk import is significantly faster. Using built-in CMS tools (such as Prestashop, OpenCart, Magento) or additional plugins, we can import products in bulk from an external source (e.g., a supplier) in formats like Excel, CSV, or XML.
Another common approach is to bypass external sources and provide the client with an Excel sheet containing the necessary fields for product entry. After the client fills it out, we can perform a bulk import using the methods mentioned above. This approach is much faster and more convenient than manually creating products one by one.
